As you peruse my automotive collection, you’ll see a general theme develop: I like special cars that don’t break the bank. This typically means used classics like the E36 BMW M3 and MKII Toyota MR2. It might also mean cars that have started to gain new followings, like the Lexus GX470 and Porsche Cayenne transition from soccer-mom kid hauler to off-road favorite.
